New Chargers Added 24 hours to Sunday, March 31st, 2013 + News Bits


Plugshare now lists (My Addition) a total of 16,278 Stations
They use dynamic tracking to add new - and remove redundant, or test stations, but for those that are dropped, or removed, it is done manually, so simply adding in the new additions - does not equal the total numbers, and sometimes - new additions are listed - but need to have their duplicate entries purged. They List 16,336 Stations. I have not listed all duplicate stations and they may not have purged them yet. I may have counted 1 as a count for one listing - but it might represent multiple chargers.


Over the last 24 hours - there have been 10 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, and 3 Restricted Chargers, plus 58 New Photos, and 8 New home stations being shared. BC Lead the way on the most new listings with 3! 

There was a Tesla High Powered Wall Charger Listed new today!

The additions tracked are: 

  • New Public Chargers Added = 10
  • New Restricted Stations added = 3
  • New Photos Added = 58
  • New Home Stations Shared = 8

128  People Checked into Public EV Chargers today. Few Chargers added, Fewer public uses - a bit quieter day - but still not so bad!

The last item counted today - was 'New Check in at Irvine Co, CA' (Red)

New Chargers Added 24 hours to Saturday, March 30th, 2013


Plugshare now lists (My Addition) a total of 16,257 Stations
They use dynamic tracking to add new - and remove redundant, or test stations, but for those that are dropped, or removed, it is done manually, so simply adding in the new additions - does not equal the total numbers, and sometimes - new additions are listed - but need to have their duplicate entries purged. They List 16,311 Stations. I have not listed all duplicate stations and they may not have purged them yet. I may have counted 1 as a count for one listing - but it might represent multiple chargers.


Over the last 24 hours - there have been 54 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, and 1 Restricted Charger, plus 37 New Photos, and 2 New home stations being shared. BC Lead the way on the most new listings with 24! 

Since starting this Blog - this is the most number of stations added to the PlugShare Network in one day. There was also a Quick Charger Listed new today!

The additions tracked are:

New Chargers Added 24 hours to Friday, March 29th, 2013


Plugshare now lists (My Addition) a total of 16,198 Stations

They use dynamic tracking to add new - and remove redundant, or test stations, but for those that are dropped, or removed, it is done manually, so simply adding in the new additions - does not equal the total numbers, and sometimes - new additions are listed - but need to have their duplicate entries purged. They List 16,220 Stations. I have not listed all duplicate stations and they may not have purged them yet.


Over the last 24 hours - there have been 8 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, plus 37 New Photos, and 5 New home stations being shared. BC Lead the way on the most new listings! 

Two of the Public Chargers should likely be listed as Restricted - to eBikes Only, due to their description with such information!.

The additions tracked are: 

  • New Public Chargers Added = 8
  • New Restricted Stations added = 0
  • New Photos Added = 37
  • New Home Stations Shared = 5

Over the last 24 hours - there have been 29 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, plus 35 New Photos, and 6 New home stations being shared.

First West Coast Navy Exchange Electric Vehicle Charging Station Opens at Naval Base San Diego.
Naval Base San Diego opened the first West Coast electric vehicle or EV charging station at the local NEX during a March 22 ceremony.

New Chargers Added - Mar. 19th - Wednesday, Mar. 20th, 2013 + News


Plugshare now lists (Their Numbers) a total of 15,992 Stations

They use dynamic tracking to both add new - and remove redundant, or test stations that are dropped, so simply adding in the new additions - does not equal the total numbers. 


Update: This was by about 5:00 PM. By 8 PM - 8 more were added - totaling 16,000 Listed Chargers. See image at the bottom!


Over the last 24 hours - there have been 4 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, plus 37 New Photos, and 2 New home stations being shared.

Over the last 24 hours - there have been 16 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, plus 27 New Photos, and 2 New home stations being shared. 2 Restricted Stations were also added. The Small town of Seward, NE (Pop. 6,964) added 3 Public stations in their town today! That's about 1 public Charger per 2,321 people!
