New Chargers Added - Mar. 19th - Wednesday, Mar. 20th, 2013 + News

Plugshare now lists (Their Numbers) a total of 15,992 Stations

They use dynamic tracking to both add new - and remove redundant, or test stations that are dropped, so simply adding in the new additions - does not equal the total numbers.

Update: This was by about 5:00 PM. By 8 PM - 8 more were added - totaling 16,000 Listed Chargers. See image at the bottom!

Over the last 24 hours - there have been 4 New Public Chargers added to the PlugShare network, plus 37 New Photos, and 2 New home stations being shared.

The additions tracked are:

  • New Public Chargers Added = 4
  • New Restricted Stations added = 0
  • New Photos Added = 37
  • New Home Stations Shared = 2

79 People Checked into Public EV Chargers today.

The last person counted today - was 'Carlin checked in at Mini Richmond, BC'

Special thanks to Bob (Clifton Park, NJ), and Bruce (Tenafly, NJ),  for sharing their Home stations access with us today!

New Public Stations today, by Name & Location (where possible + Links):
  1. Kohl's, (Blink), McDonough, GA
  2. Walgreen's, Lynnwood, WA
  3. Sun Valley Acoustical Corp., Chico, CA
  4. Alan Webb Mitsubishi, Vancouver, WA
Still a pretty quiet day! Even though more people used public chargers today - than yesterday - it was only 11 more people checked in today!

I am updating this post with the stats late, but as I do - Plugshare has reported rolling over 16,000 Electric Vehicle Charge Points tracked on their site!
